Kristianstad, Sweden eliminates fossil fuels for heating

There’s an interesting article in the New York Times about a city in Sweden that eliminated all fossil fuel consumptions for heating. To accomplish this, the city uses an assortment of food wastes, such as potato peels, manure, used cooking oil, stale cookies and pig intestines.
