Nasir Uddin – Vice President

Nasir has a Masters in Biomedical Engineering and Business Administration at Rutgers University’s MBS Program, while working at a medical device company. Locally, Nasir is the Vice President of Youth Achievers’ Committee of Burlington County that works to engage minority students in Math, Science, and Engineering. Nasir has been awarded numerous awards for his service, including being named a National Coca Cola Scholar. Within em[POWER], Nasir founded the successful Rutgers University student chapter and instrumental in starting em[POWER] Project Bangladesh. Being here since the start of the organization, Nasir intends to make em[POWER] a life-time commitment. He sees this organization as having a lot of potential to make a difference in the lives of millions around the world, one landfill at a time. Nasir lives by the philosophy, “To attain success is to laugh often and much, to win the respect of intelligent people and the affection of children, to appreciate beauty, to find the best in others, to leave the world a bit better, to know even one life has breathed easier because you have lived.”
